Originally built in 2015, we wanted to create a better street presence for this modern home. The addition to the front includes a new covered porch and entry to improve the outdoor experience in hot summer months, while also giving the home a more complete design from the exterior. The already warm, modern interior filled with oak floors and walnut cabinetry was further improved with the choice to tile the fireplace with a beautiful large format tile designed with organic lines and a soft gray color to tone down the warmth in the interior design. With all the natural light pouring in from the Western windows, the light taupe colored paint fits beautifully among the finishes and tiled fireplace. A new dark stain to the exterior wood siding creates a more cohesive and modern feel with the black sheet metal covering the entry, and a new landscape design created a beautiful complement to the addition.
